Dedicated open enrollment webpage offering one-stop shop for 2020 open enrollment

Open enrollment 2020 begins Oct. 29 and runs through 6 p.m. ET Nov. 12. In preparation, Human Resources – Benefits is proud to announce a new look and feel to its benefits website. Offering a user-friendly browsing experience for faculty and staff through an enhanced easy-to-navigate, uncluttered design, the homepage currently features a link to the dedicated open enrollment webpage.

Astronaut reunion to conclude Purdue’s 150th anniversary celebration at Homecoming

An astronaut reunion will take place during October’s Homecoming festivities to celebrate the end of Purdue’s sesquicentennial, "150 Years of Giant Leaps.” Purdue upholds the Cradle of Astronauts tradition, graduating 25 astronauts, including the first and most recent people to walk on the moon. Thirteen astronauts who have flown with NASA and one commercial astronaut are expected at the reunion on Oct. 10-12. The public is welcome to attend a meet and greet with the astronauts 9:30-10:30 a.m. Oct. 12 at Homecoming Tent Row, located near Neil Armstrong Hall.

Campaign kicks off

Purdue’s 2019 United Way campaign kicked off Wednesday (Sept. 11) with the goal of raising $800,000 for local agencies. The campaign ends Nov. 20. David Reingold, the Justin S. Morrill Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, is this year’s campaign chair. Gary Bertoline, dean of the Purdue Polytechnic Institute, is the vice chair.
