Self-compassion is focus of upcoming Center for Healthy Living workshop

The Center for Healthy Living on Purdue's West Lafayette campus is offering a presentation on Jan. 23 that looks at the difference between self-care and self-compassion and how to incorporate more of each into every day. In addition, participants will learn how both directly correlate with intrinsic motivation.

Purdue will hold a candlelight memorial for Tyler Trent, the alumnus and superfan whose spirit in the face of cancer captivated hearts around the nation, at 6 p.m. today (Jan. 9) in front of Hovde Hall. The memorial will be livestreamed here.
