Purdue and SunGard Higher Education to deliver Signals

Signals screen

Signals, an innovative early intervention system that warns students that are at risk of underperforming in a course and facilitates faculty interventions, will be enhanced and brought to higher education institutions through a joint effort by SunGard Higher Education, Purdue and the Purdue Research Foundation.

The collaboration is among the first examples of SunGard Higher Education's new Open Digital Campus strategy in action. More

Recognition programs scheduled for December, January

A recognition luncheon for clerical and service staff will be held Dec. 2, and a recognition luncheon for administrative and professional staff in the Office of the Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost will be held Jan. 28. APSAC, CSSAC discuss proposed smoking ban at meeting

The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee and the Clerical and Service Staff Advisory Committee discussed, but did not vote on, whether to endorse the proposed smoking ban on Purdue's West Lafayette campus at their joint meeting Oct. 13. More

When Indiana clocks fall back an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, the time change will affect the work schedule of some University employees. More

Boiler Volunteer Network gathering donations for food bank

Food drive donations

The Boiler Volunteer Network kicked off its ninth annual Fall Harvest Food Drive on Oct. 26. Students, faculty and staff will be able to donate to the food drive through Nov. 21. All donations will benefit Food Finders Food Bank.

Members of five campus categories including academic departments or offices, student organizations, and residence halls or floors, will compete to see who can collect the greatest number of pounds of food. The top group within each category will receive a prize. More
