-- Recycling "set out" day for old telephone directories. Pickup by Purdue recycling crews will be Saturday. Place books, boxed or bundled, on loading docks or next to outdoor green recycling carts. Covering the books against the weather is quite helpful.
-- "Computer Security." Presentations for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month. ITaP and SecurePurdue. John McCumber, Symantec Corp., on computer security threats in industry; Scott Ksander, Purdue's chief information security officer, on computer security threats in universities. 9-11 a.m. Fowler Hall, STEW. For varsity athletics tickets, call the Athletic Ticket Office, (765) 494-3194 or (800) 49-SPORT [497-7678]; or visit the office in the Intercollegiate Athletic Facility. The office is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and before ticketed events at IAF, Mackey Arena and Ross-Ade Stadium.
