Money Smart Week is an awareness campaign designed to help consumers better manage their personal finances. More Money Smart Week: Tip of the daySkipping regular checkups and screenings is not the way to save money. Although you might save the co-pay requirement, not finding health problems initially will cause the treatment costs to be much more when the symptoms become apparent. It is much better to begin early treatment. Today’s tip goes along with the Money Smart Week presentation “Health Care Consumerism and Health Savings,” taking place from 12:10 to 12:50 p.m. in STEW 320.
