Admissions offers campus visit programs

The Office of Admissions encourages all faculty and staff with high school-age students to attend one of its campus visit programs.

Visit opportunities throughout the year range from 2.5-hour campus daily visits to full-day, open-house-style events. Daily visits are offered four times each weekday and once on Saturday; several full-day events are scheduled throughout the fall and spring semesters.

All visits allow students and families to learn more about admission to Purdue and provide the opportunity to ask questions on specific topics of both Admissions staff and current Purdue students. During full-day programs, students and families can attend sessions based on academic and personal interests, tour specific campus facilities, and meet with staff and current students in departments across the University.

All faculty and staff are encouraged to be aware of these visit programs and welcome those visiting the campus if the opportunity exists. These guests are easy to recognize -- they’re usually carrying black or gold plastic Purdue bags and sometimes are following a backward-walking tour guide.

Upcoming full-day programs will be:
    * Oct. 16, Fall Preview Day.
    * Oct. 29, Fall Preview Day.
    * Oct. 30, Fall Preview Day.
    * Nov. 11, Fall Preview Day.
