Vehicle Check-In
Transportation Services, in conjunction with the Department of Risk Management, is responsible for assigning University vehicle numbers to all University vehicles, and will arrange for licensed University vehicles to receive the appropriate University markings, per specifications from Purdue Marketing and Communications.
All newly acquired University vehicles (new, used, purchased or donated) must be inspected by Transportation Services to begin the process of applying for title, plates and registration. Once a University vehicle registration and license plates are received, Risk Management will provide a copy to the department to be kept in the University vehicle at all times.
Purdue System-Wide Locations
System-wide locations are responsible for their new vehicle inspections and should forward all paperwork to Transportation Services for processing.
