Advisory Council

The Purdue University Basic Needs Program Advisory Council is a strategic, consultative group that provides guidance and insight to strengthen Purdue’s efforts to support student well-being and success. Formed in fall 2025, the Council advises program leadership on strategies, partnerships, and innovative approaches to ensure students have reliable access to essential resources such as food, housing, financial stability, and other basic needs.

Drawing on a wide range of professional, lived, and community perspectives, the Council advances a holistic model of student support so all Boilermakers can thrive academically and personally. The Council held its inaugural meeting in January 2026.
