3. Determine Audience
Decide which audience(s) should be targeted in your identified gap(s). For example:
- K-12 teachers or students
- Graduate or undergraduate students
- Postdoctoral fellows
- Faculty
- General public or project stakeholders
- Underrepresented minorities
This figure shows how a gap provides rationale for unique audiences and interventions. You do not have to include all potential audiences. Consider Step 2 Broader Impact Identity and funding agency emphasis to define your focus.
