Employees to take action by Friday with new performance management deadlines

Updated Jan. 23, 2018 to reflect updated deadlines and a new title — originally titled "Timeline for performance management evaluations"

Employees must enter progress notes towards goals and submit their evaluation ("Initiate Evaluation" within SAP) by 11:59 p.m. on Friday (Jan. 26). This step is optional and not required for service staff as their evaluations will be initiated automatically on that date.

The timeline for evaluations and remaining deadlines follow.

  • By 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 26, 2018: PF staff members initiate their evaluations within SAP. This step is optional and not required for service staff.

  • Jan. 29-Feb. 16, 2018: Managers should write and submit appraisals within SAP. This step will be "Finalized" in the system at a later date that will be communicated to managers. Managers meet with directors to share evaluation scores prior to evaluations being delivered to staff.

  • By March 30, 2018: Supervisors meet with each staff member one-on-one to discuss the annual evaluation results.

  • March 31, 2018: Scores are considered final in SAP and will be used for merit raise consideration
  • By Apr. 20, 2018: Each staff member enters the SAP online tool to review final supervisor ratings/comments and confirm that the one-on-one evaluation took place.

  • June 2, 2017: Fiscal year 2018 evaluation forms are loaded.

  • On or before June 30, 2018: Each staff member, in consultation with their supervisor, will enter FY19 goals into SuccessFactors, the new tool that will be used for all FY19 performance management evaluation steps.
