  • Description: Swing by for a Mary Lou’s donut and pick up tips on how to recycle more effectively on campus.

ISF Impact Series – Webinar

  • Description: This webinar from the Environmental Stressors Research Community highlights interdisciplinary research that advances understanding of how environmental stressors impact human health and the built environment, with an emphasis on actionable science that informs mitigation and resilience strategies.

ISF Impact Series – Webinar

In this Earth Day webinar from the Circular Economy Systems initiative of ISF, the topic of food waste will be explored at levels ranging from personal to global, featuring experts in economics, nutrition, farming and community support.

E-Waste Collection Event

An opportunity to safely and responsibly dispose of personal and university unwanted electronics. Accepted items include common devices such as TVs, computers, laptops, vacuums and printers, while items containing refrigerants and large appliances are not permitted. The drop-off event is open to the Greater Lafayette community.

  • Time: 8 a.m.-1 p.m.
  • Location: Purdue Armory, North entrance off N. University St. (480 N. University St., West Lafayette, IN 47907)

  • VHS Tapes 
  • Bare CRT Tubes

  • Cassette Tapes 
  • Data Tapes 
  • Electric Lamps

  • Items containing PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyl) 
  • Oil & other petroleum products 
  • Light bulbs (Unless already part of the electronic device such as projectors) 
  • Plastic not from electronics 
  • Chemicals not related to electronic equipment

  • Miscellaneous trash 
  • Mercury‐containing devices (light bulbs, thermometers, thermostats)

  • Wood products (Unless already a part of the electronic device such as a television)

  • Pressurized Tanks (Propane, Oxygen, Etc.)

Purdue Day of Service

Help beautify campus in preparation for graduation. In partnership with Purdue Grounds, volunteers will be mulching landscaping beds throughout Mitch Daniels Blvd. corridor and Memorial Mall. Registration is full.
