Semester Passes

The Greater Lafayette Public Transportation Corporation adopted systemwide fare increases at its Aug. 27, 2025 board meeting. All rate increases began Jan. 1, 2026, including a price increase to the CityBus semester pass. Purdue was able to secure a discounted semester pass rate of $125 from CityBus.

For the spring 2026 semester, Purdue is subsidizing half of the cost of off-campus passes for students to make the cost $62, instead of Purdue’s discounted rate of $125.

CityBus semester passes are to be claimed by downloading the EZFare app and signing in with your Purdue email address. No other email addresses will qualify for the discounted rate.

CityBus semester passes for spring 2026 became available on Jan. 1, and rides started on Jan. 2.
