Join the campus community in celebrating Earth Month

Administrative Operations’ (AO) sustainability department is partnering with other university departments and student organizations to celebrate Earth Month this April. Earth Month is an extended celebration of Earth Day, which is April 22.

The campus community is invited to attend various events that will focus on sustainable initiatives. This year’s lineup includes hands-on volunteer opportunities such as the Purdue Day of Service on April 25, co-hosted by AO Grounds and the Purdue for Life Foundation.

More information about activities scheduled during the month of April is available on the AO Sustainability website. Some events may require registration, which is also available on the Sustainability website.

Many of the planned events are weather dependent. Check Sustainability’s social media channels on FacebookInstagram or X (formerly known as Twitter) for updated information, including cancellations.

The Administrative Operations organization supports the university through safe, reliable and transformative services. Hosting events to celebrate Earth Day and the environment is just one of many ways the organization powers Purdue. To learn more about the daily operations of the organization, follow it on Instagram at @purdueoperations and Facebook at Purdue Administrative Operations.

Questions may be directed to AO Sustainability at sustainability@purdue.edu.
