Brightspace Creator+ lets instructors create interactive, sustainable and accessible courses with ease
Purdue faculty and staff have a new way to add interactive elements to their Brightspace courses to increase learner engagement and comprehension. Features include hotspots, flip cards, timelines, tabs, carousels, practice questions, and more.
Instructors now have access to Creator+ features in their Brightspace course content. These features are available when using the “Create a File” option and reside under the “Creator+ Authoring Tools” (paintbrush/pencil) menu from toolbar.
Brightspace Creator+ is a set of features that make it easier for instructors to create interactive, accessible, and sustainable learning experiences within new or existing course content. The four key features of Creator+ include:
- Element: Pre-designed interactive features you can populate with your course content.
- Practice: Ungraded questions students can use repeatedly to self-check their understanding right within the course content.
- Lumi: An AI generator that scans provided content and suggests practice questions for the instructor.
- Layout: Options to visually structure content in a file without using a table.
