'Grad 101' to provide students with information on graduate school
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University's Black Graduate Student Association and the Graduate School on Feb. 18 will host "Grad 101."
Grad 101 is an event designed to provide undergraduate students with information about how to get into graduate school. The program will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Lawson Computer Science Building, Room B155.
Students can find information about graduate school applications, funding and graduate student life. They also will be entered in a drawing to win prizes.
The event will kick off with a breakfast, followed by faculty keynote speaker Mark Smith, Purdue's graduate school dean. Additional activities include a panel featuring faculty members and students sharing their graduate school experiences and graduate student research presentations. A luncheon also will be provided.
