WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. —

Purdue University Galleries will exhibit a selection of glass artwork from Ball State University’s Glick Glass Collection in the Robert L. Ringel Gallery in Stewart Center. This exhibition, titled “Selections,” opened Monday (Jan. 10) and will run through Feb. 10.

In partnership with the Ball State School of Art, Purdue Galleries will exhibit a curated selection of the Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass Teaching Collection, made possible by Marianne Glick. This collection, initially acquired in 2014, has continued to grow through the benevolence of multiple donors and visiting artists. The collection represents a wide array of processes and viewpoints from local, national and international artists. The collection is a vital component of the teaching curriculum and outreach of Ball State’s Glick Center for Glass, and the exhibition was curated by faculty of the Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass.

A reception and curator’s talk with Brent Cole, director of the Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass, is set for 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 10 in Ringel Gallery.

The Robert L. Ringel Gallery is located in Stewart Center, 128 Memorial Mall on Purdue’s campus and is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. Purdue Galleries will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday (Jan. 17).  All Purdue Galleries exhibitions and events are free and open to the public. Visitors to campus are required to wear masks in indoor settings and follow Protect Purdue guidelines
