Undergraduate research symposium set for July 30

The Purdue Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) will host the 2026 Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium on July 30, featuring nearly 500 student presentations that highlight discovery, innovation and hands-on learning across disciplines. The abstract book and presentation schedules are now available. Faculty, staff, postdocs and graduate students are needed to serve as judges for poster presentations.

The Purdue and greater community are invited to attend:

  • Poster symposium, July 30 in the Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South Ballrooms with sessions from 10:30-11:30 a.m., noon to 1 p.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m.
  • Research talks, July 30 in Grissom Hall from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Virtual presentations, July 27-31 on the symposium website
