This week’s ‘Thumbs Up’ recipients
Purdue Today’s “Thumbs Up” series gives faculty and staff members the opportunity to recognize, thank and congratulate others for their outstanding service, support and performance across the Purdue system. This week’s “Thumbs Up” recipients are:
Trace Rosen
Trace (Purdue Memorial Union) has consistently gone above and beyond in supporting both colleagues and vendors. Recently he assisted a vendor who was visiting three Stewart Center locations in preparation for regular deliveries, personally escorting him to each site. On another occasion, he helped a co-worker transport a large food delivery to the Envision Center, carrying items and guiding her from the Stewart Center back dock to the destination. These are just two recent examples of Trace’s willingness to step in and help, but they are far from the only ones. He regularly goes out of his way to support others whenever needed, and his positive attitude, dependability and teamwork are greatly appreciated by everyone who works with him. — Carol Funkhouser and Crystal Bradford (both Purdue IT)
Maira Aponte-Rodriguez and Jessica Taylor
Thank you, Maira and Jessica (both Graduate Records), for taking the time to answer questions and make sure that students are taken care of. I appreciate your kindness and patience to help me learn a new system and process. It makes a world of difference when someone takes the time to try to explain how to help the students we serve. I appreciate you both! — Katie May (Nuclear Engineering)
