Reminder: Conflicts of Commitment and Reportable Outside Activities

It is time for fiscal year faculty and staff to update their 2026-27 disclosure profile in the PERA COI/COC Module.

Under the policy on Conflicts of Commitment and Reportable Outside Activities, all exempt employees —including faculty, staff and certain student employees — must complete annual training and confirm their compliance with the policy. Updating your disclosure profile satisfies these requirements and allows you to submit any necessary reportable outside activity pre-approval requests.

PERA will email all exempt employees a link to update their disclosure profile in the COI/COC Module. Fiscal-year employees should have received their email on July 10, and academic-year employees should receive theirs on or about Aug. 24.

Please wait until the email notification is received before updating your disclosure profile. If updated early, it may need to be completed again for certification to be properly recorded.
