Free hearing screenings available through M.D. Steer Audiology Clinic

Purdue’s M.D. Steer Audiology Clinic is offering free adult hearing screenings Aug. 24-28 for faculty, staff and community members.

Screenings will be held in Lyles-Porter Hall, 715 Clinic Drive, Room 1042, and are open to adults 18 and older. To learn about operating hours and to schedule an appointment, call 765-494-3789.

The screenings are recommended for anyone who has experienced ringing in their ears, has had exposure to loud noise or frequent ear infections, or has difficulty hearing speech in noisy rooms. Clinical instructors and graduate students from the clinic will perform the 20-minute screenings.

The M.D. Steer Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinics are part of the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences within the College of Health and Human Sciences.
