Voting information for upcoming primary election

Indiana’s primary election is May 5. Purdue University encourages all eligible voters to exercise their right to vote and encourages instructors and supervisors to consider flexibility in accommodating students and employees who are voting. Faculty, staff and students can find more information by registered voting location below:

Faculty, staff and students in West Lafayette

The Córdova Recreational Sports Center (CoRec), 355 N. Martin Jischke Drive, in West Lafayette will serve as an early voting site from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday (April 21) and as an Election Day voting site from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 5.

Purdue Campus Transit’s on-demand service, a shared shuttle with stops at multiple set locations, picks up and drops off outside the CoRec from 7 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday. Booking is required in the Campus Transit mobile app, and riders are encouraged to book in advance to guarantee rides and shorten wait times. All Campus Transit services are free for faculty, staff and students.  

Anyone who is registered to vote in Tippecanoe County may use this voting site or any others in the county:

Registered voters in Marion County can find voting centers and additional information on the IndyVOTES website.

The closest early voting site to Purdue’s Indianapolis location is at the Indianapolis City-County Building, 200 E. Washington St., open for early voting from April 7 to May 4. It will also serve as a primary Election Day site on May 5. View more details about this location.

The closest primary Election Day voting site will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 5 at Indiana University Indianapolis’ University Library, 755 W. Michigan St. View more details about this location.
