Registration still open for Excellence in Research Distinguished Lectures on May 6

Purdue will celebrate the winners of the university’s most prestigious research awards at the Excellence in Research Distinguished Lectures event Wednesday (May 6). Registration is still available online.

The three awards are the Lu Ann Aday AwardArden L. Bement Jr. Award and Herbert Newby McCoy Award.

Each year, the winners of these awards are invited to give a lecture based on their work and formally receive the awards at the annual Faculty Honors Ceremony and Celebration. The 2025 winners are:

The event will be held in Purdue Memorial Union’s East/West Faculty Lounges, with breakfast and networking starting at 9 a.m. The lectures will be held 9:30-11 a.m., and a reception will be held 11-11:30 a.m.
