Purdue, Fidelity ‘Summer School’ financial well-being classes continue

Purdue, in partnership with Fidelity — Purdue’s official provider of retirement plan education, guidance and assistance — will again offer a summer school curriculum focused on financial well-being. Presented by Fidelity workplace financial consultants, the next class is June 18. There is no cost to attend.

Summer school classes are offered virtually at noon ET on select days through Aug. 18. The curriculum supports the financial wellness pillar of the Your Path Wellness Program. Individuals are encouraged to attend any or all of the classes that meet their financial well-being knowledge needs. The summer school curriculum continues as follows:

Financial Wellness 201

  • June 18: Create a Budget and Build Emergency Savings — register here

Midcurriculum check-in (optional)

Financial Wellness 301

  • July 7: Cyber Fraud and Personal Security Insights — register here
  • July 24: Fundamentals of Retirement Income Planning — register here

Retirement Readiness Capstone

  • Aug. 11: Understanding Roth Contributions in Your Workplace Savings Plan — register here 
  • Aug. 18: Maximize Social Security in Your Retirement Strategy — register here

Extra credit

  • Schedule a one-on-one consultation with a Fidelity workplace financial consultant.

Appointments are available virtually or in person at a time that works for the individual.
