MaPSAC elects new vice chair and emeritus members

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee elected a new vice chair and four nonvoting emeritus members for 2026-27 during its April 8 meeting.

Joey Woodyard, director of operations for the Purdue University Veterinary Hospital, was elected vice chair and will take office June 1. Current vice chair Amanda Hassenplug, lead research operations administrator for the Rosen Center for Advanced Computing, will become the 2026-27 chair at the same time.

Members also elected the following individuals to serve one-year terms as emeritus members starting June 1:

  • Eric Adams, lead research operations administrator for education, Rosen Center for Advanced Computing
  • Leslie Martin, assistant dean of administration, College of Veterinary Medicine
  • Amanda Taylor, executive assistant to the head, Department of Statistics
  • Stephanie Winder, program coordinator, School of Mechanical Engineering
