Renzulli appointed senior associate vice provost

Vice Provost Sunil Prabhakar has announced that Linda Renzulli, currently professor and head of Purdue’s Department of Sociology, has joined the Office of the Provost as senior associate vice provost for faculty affairs, effective today (Jan. 12).

Renzulli has been at Purdue since 2016 with a proven record of success in advancing department and college strategic priorities. With her deep institutional knowledge and academic experience, she will be integral in helping to advance faculty excellence through all stages of their careers.

Renzulli received her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and her master’s and doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research is concentrated at the intersection of organizations and stratification in the educational setting (both K-12 and higher education).
