Register for webinar: 2026 USDA NIFA Strengthening Agricultural Systems Notice of Funding Opportunity

The Office of Research invites faculty to join an informational webinar focused on the 2026 USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture Strengthening Agricultural Systems (SAS) Notice of Funding Opportunity at 11 a.m. Monday (Feb. 23).

This one-hour session is for faculty considering submission to the SAS program, as well as research administrators and project team members who support proposal development. Staff from Strategic Interdisciplinary Research and Sponsored Program Services will provide a brief overview of the SAS program and this year’s updated priorities followed by a deeper dive into the required elements of a competitive and compliant application. The webinar will also outline a recommended timeline for budget development and document completion, helping teams plan effectively for submission.
