New IT standard for high-performance computing security

A new systemwide standard is effective March 25. High Performance Computing Security (S-33) addresses security topics unique to a high performance computing environment and outlines responsibilities for principal investigators, researchers and other users of these resources. The Rosen Center for Advanced Computing is tasked with ensuring all technical aspects of the university’s high performance computing resources meet applicable requirements.

Visit the new and revised policies page on the University Policy Office website for a link to the full text of the standard.

Note: Policies and standards do not apply to Purdue University Global, as it maintains its own policies and standards.
