Annual Health Empowerment Summit coming Feb. 24

Purdue’s annual Health Empowerment Summit serves as a collaborative space for academics, industry leaders and community partners with a shared interest in advancing health. While each year’s theme shifts to address a distinct area of focus, this event provides a consistent forum for sharing knowledge and having a dialogue that shapes the direction of the Purdue community’s collective work. This year’s focus is on emerging health technologies. Along with keynote guests Robert Califf, cardiologist and former commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and Seema Verma, executive vice president and general manager of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, the program will include three speaker panels and the launch of The Purdue Pitch Engine Competition.
