Thousands attend Celebration of Victories and Heroes

On Friday (Oct. 24), thousands of members of the Purdue community flocked to Mackey Arena to attend a Celebration of Victories and Heroes, a showcase for both Homecoming 2025 and “Victories & Heroes: Your Campaign for Purdue.” During the event, plans were announced for the Victories & Heroes Plaza, a revitalization of the historic Purdue Mall that will create a vibrant crossroads showcasing the impact of philanthropy. The evening concluded with a watch party for the Purdue men’s basketball exhibition game against the University of Kentucky.
