It was an amazing team effort to host our end-of-the-semester Study Break Depot for our Polytechnic students. I appreciate all of you for your amazing work, dedication and time! — Kimberly Vi (Office of Globalization)

Cruz Huizar, Vicky Deardurff, Michael McClimans and Eduardo Tovar Lopez

Cruz, Vicky and Michael, who work under Eduardo Tovar Lopez (all Building Services), always do an excellent job in our buildings. Faculty members and students regularly express their gratitude for the work they do. Recently, their team worked an area into the rotation while also scrubbing and waxing the floor in that area after a construction project was finished. These preparations were noticed and appreciated by multiple faculty members as we moved equipment into this area. Great job, team! We are glad to have you as a part of our Herrick community! — Herrick operations team

Garth Golleher

Every time we are out at Materials Management and Distribution Center, the team is a breeze to work with! Last time we had a large delivery, Garth (Materials Management Administration) made the process so simple and easy for us to pick up our equipment. From our first communication to loading up and pulling away from the dock, Garth handled everything with care and a smile! Makes me want to order more equipment just to stop by and work with him! Thanks, Garth! — Herrick Labs

Joe Cress

I want to recognize Joe (Financial Aid) for his exceptional support and expertise. Joe has been an incredible soundboard and makes the loan processes feel manageable. His professionalism, patience and genuine commitment to helping others stand out in every interaction. Thank you, Joe, for consistently going above and beyond — your impact is felt and deeply appreciated. — Tessa Winkler (Financial Aid)

Rhianna Kuperus and Yao Yang

My leadership team and I greatly appreciate our colleagues in Institutional Data Analytics + Assessment, Rhianna Kuperus and Yao Yang. The work of these two research and assessment pros, with the support of the entire IDA+A team, helps us understand the impact of our work and enables us to make decisions based on evidence. Our work is focused on enabling the success of Purdue students. Rhianna and Yao help us to see opportunities to improve and adjust in order to have greater effect on that success. We appreciate these important members of our team. — Dan Carpenter (Student Success Programs)

Heath Berglan

Thanks for all of your hard work cleaning up POTR 141 and onboarding Sophie! Your willingness to continuously help others does not go unnoticed. Your humor and great attitude are also much appreciated. Thank you for all that you do! — Dustin Schultz (Purdue Polytechnic)

Jan Aynes and the sheet metal team

Jan and team are always very responsive when it comes to sheet metal/welding needs, often times dropping what they are doing to come assess and help. Recently, they took it upon themselves to tackle a project with a bathroom exhaust system at McCutcheon Residence Hall. Their ability to adapt and overcome unique obstacles that would come up to complete this project demonstrated perseverance, determination and dedication that warrants recognition. Thank you for being an asset to zone 7 and Purdue respectively. — Jacob Wolff (Operations and Maintenance)

John Kaufman, Nicole Begin and Brittany Jacobson

These three staff members were cleaning up leaves and debris from around Academy Park in the wind and rain. They went the extra mile to make sure campus looked great for winter commencement. — Jason Kilgour (Grounds Department)
