This week’s ‘Thumbs Up’ recipients
Clinton Keifer and Nathan Toomey
Thank you, Clint and Nathan (both Operations and Maintenance), for taking the time to clean up the old units outside the plumbing shop at the Physical Facilities Service Building. Your willingness to jump in and get the area back in order is truly appreciated. Thanks for keeping our workspace safe, organized and looking its best. — Alan Jeffries (Operations and Maintenance)
Lori Allison and Anna Bauer
We would like to give a big shout-out to Lori and Anna (both Finance). The Purdue Institute for Drug Discovery was awarded a T32 grant, and the process to set it up was new to our department. Throughout this process, Lori and Anna were invaluable resources, helping us navigate complex requirements and resolve challenges along the way. Their expertise and willingness to assist made a tremendous difference, and we are deeply grateful for their contributions. — Michelle Roskuski (Finance) and the Drug Discovery Team

Your dedication does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated! — Victoria Deno (Administrative Operations Communications)
Ivy (Yujian) Wang
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ivy (Undergraduate Admissions) for her quick help and thoughtful care in addressing our many questions about transfer credits. Your support has made a meaningful difference for both our First-Year Engineering students and our advising team. We truly appreciate your dedication and responsiveness. — The FYE advising team
Cody Lawrence
Just a quick “Thumbs Up” for our Daniels School of Business IT team. The team is constantly helping out our faculty and staff, but today I wanted to mention an above-and-beyond instance. My student worker has worked here for four-and-a-half years and is graduating in less than a month. She recently installed an update to her laptop that bricked her computer. Everything was lost right before final presentations and exams; years of notes gone. But after asking our IT team if they had any suggestions or thoughts on if anything might be retrievable, Travis Kirby had one of his team members look at it. Thank you, Travis, Jeff Deitrick and Drew Tobias (all IT End User Experience) for all talking it out and offering possibilities. And a big thanks to Cody (IT End User Experience), who, after graciously spending more time than he maybe originally intended, discovered the issue and made the repair. All data was saved for a much-relieved, soon-to-be graduate! Many thanks. — Michael Humphrey (Daniels School)
Bobbi Jo Minick
I want to thank Bobbi Jo (Finance and Business Operations) for her outstanding support during our urgent hiring push in Purdue Testing Services. We had a significant wave of last-minute hires to ensure we had enough proctors for finals week, all while needing time to properly train everyone. Bobbi Jo processed each request quickly, stayed on top of every detail and kept the entire hiring process moving. We truly could not have managed this without her help. Her partnership made a stressful period far more manageable, and we are incredibly grateful. — Kelsey Jordan (Testing Center)
Purdue Academic Advising Association’s Research Committee members
Thank you to Anna Ochs, Jared York and Hannah Craddock Mossman (all Health and Human Sciences); Kendall Bailey (Daniels School); Summer Bowman (Purdue Promise); and Johnathon Bower (Electrical and Computer Engineering) for their hard work on gathering and presenting data at our Fall Scholarly Seminar. Their incredible work made the presentation a success! — Constance Golando (Electrical and Computer Engineering)
