Hunter Rex

Huge thank-you to Hunter (Athletics) for always going above and beyond to answer questions or help with events! I appreciate you always being kind and patient. — Katie May (Public Health)

Meaghan Stillabower

Just one year ago, Meaghan (Registrar) stepped in to lead our customer service team — primarily staffed by student employees and interns — and immediately made her mark. Historically, we were running at double our budget, but Meaghan didn’t just accept the status quo; she dove in headfirst, creating templates and documentation and streamlining processes that brought us back in line with our budget without sacrificing response times or service quality. And if that wasn’t impressive enough, Meaghan also saved the department over $20,000 in phone and IT costs! Her leadership and strategic thinking have transformed how we operate. Meaghan, your impact is nothing short of incredible. Thank you for raising the bar and showing what’s possible! — Lesa Beals (Registrar)

Ryan Jones

Since moving into my new office in January 2021, I’ve had one quirky challenge: The wall monitor was installed directly in front of the motion sensor for my lights. That meant every time I worked at my desk for more than 15 minutes, the lights shut off — cue me waving my arms with the cardboard work-around! Enter Ryan (Registrar). With incredible engineering and problem-solving skills, Ryan designed a smart, permanent fix that eliminated the issue completely. No more cardboard hacks, no more midmeeting darkness — just seamless functionality thanks to Ryan’s creativity and technical know-how. Ryan, your ability to turn a frustrating problem into an elegant solution is nothing short of amazing. Thank you for making our workspace better! — Lesa Beals (Registrar)

Jerry Munn, Juan Riso, Ethan Post and Jason Anderson

Thank you, Jerry, Juan, Ethan and Jason (all Operations and Maintenance), for moving our shelves for us! It’s the little things in life that make coming to work fun. — Terri Griffin (Operations and Maintenance)

Brenda Masiga-Crowell and PUSH staff members

Thank you to Brenda (Purdue Student Health Center) and her team for organizing and participating in the recent food drive for our campus food pantry. Your generosity and commitment to supporting our students makes a meaningful difference, especially for those facing food insecurity. Your collective effort strengthens our campus community and demonstrates the compassion and leadership that define your department. We are truly grateful for your partnership and the positive impact you continue to make. Thank you again for your kindness and support. — Carmen Williams (Student Life Well-Being Programs)

Cassie Pendleton

Cassie is the Polytechnic Institute’s BoilerConnect trainer. She takes great care and time to work with new advisors on the intricacies of this tool. Recently, she worked with four of our newest staff members to get them up to speed in a very personal training session catered to what they needed to know while answering all their questions. Our advisors appreciate all Cassie does for us in all things BoilerConnect. — T.R. Oneal (Polytechnic Institute)

Katie Zabriskie

Katie (Science) has helped me conduct makeup exams (CHM 11510) for students in Indianapolis who couldn’t take the exam at the regular scheduled time because the chemistry lab was held at the same time as the exam. She stepped forward and worked with approximately 30 students to find alternative timing that worked for each student. She worked diligently without fuss. I am very appreciative of her kindness in helping me. Thank you, Katie! — Sridhar Budhi (Chemistry)
