Nominations are now open for 3 community engagement awards

The Office of Engagement is seeking nominations for the 2026 Engaging Rising Star and engaged unit/program — as well as for the JoAnn Miller Exemplary Community Partner Award.

The Engaging Rising Star Award and engaged unit/program award recognize staff, students, assistant and associate professors (full professors are not eligible), and units or programs who are integrating community engagement across their teaching, research and engagement efforts resulting in societal impacts.

The JoAnn Miller Exemplary Community Partner Award recognizes local nonprofits, schools or government units that partner with Purdue in helping the university fulfill its mission areas of teaching, research and engagement resulting in broader or societal impact.

Nominations are due Jan. 20.
