Instructors needed for Grandparents University 2026

The Purdue for Life Foundation is looking for enthusiastic instructors for next summer’s Grandparents University, a two-day program that strengthens the bond between grandparents, their grandchildren and Purdue.

Grandparents University 2026 will be held July 16-17 and July 23-24. As the program grows in popularity, Boilermaker instructors are needed to:

  • Lead engaging, hands-on sessions for the young and young at heart
  • Showcase their department’s cutting-edge projects, facilities and technology
  • Inspire the next generation to explore ideas in exciting ways

In 2025, participants could choose from 30 different “majors” from departments across campus, and the Purdue for Life Foundation is hoping to expand and offer even more learning opportunities next summer. Instructors will even receive a stipend to help cover program expenses!
