Holiday spirit will make a return to the Purdue Memorial Union with the arrival of this year’s Christmas tree Dec. 1. The tree will be delivered to the Great Hall around noon.

A tree lighting ceremony will take place from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 4 in the Great Hall.

The Purdue Memorial Union and Union Club Hotel will host a variety of additional holiday celebrations in the days leading up to Christmas. Events include an ugly Christmas sweater selfie special at Leaps Coffee (Dec. 9) and the Winter Makers Market (Dec. 11) with goods from local vendors, themed activities and the chance to get a glimpse of reindeer up close!

The Purdue Student Union Board will once again present the popular Breakfast with Santa tradition from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 6 in the Purdue Memorial Union’s North and South ballrooms. Meal tickets are limited to 300 people, and organizers recommend buying tickets in advance.
