Request for health-focused and community-engaged project proposals

The Center for Community Health Enhancement and Learning (HEAL) is announcing a new funding opportunity for Purdue faculty committed to advancing health equity through community-engaged implementation projects.

HEAL is now accepting proposals for one-year, Purdue-led projects that address social drivers of health in partnership with communities across eight counties in Indiana Public Health District 4. Each selected project will receive up to $25,000 in funding.

The deadline for proposals is Aug. 31. Purdue faculty (tenured/tenure-track, research or clinical) at assistant professor rank or higher are eligible to apply.

Projects should build or reinforce long-term partnerships with community stakeholders. In addition, cross-college collaborations are strongly encouraged. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact while laying the groundwork for future external funding.

Please see the full RFP for additional information and the application form.
