Flowers growing under Purdue’s Gateway to the Future arch on a sunny day

Jonathan Maj

Jonathan (Daniels School Business Office) has been a tremendous help adjusting federal grant budgets in near real time. He consistently exceeds expectations in making sure it is not only done right the first time but also taking time to make sure that I fully understand the implications. Dedicated people like Jonathan make it a pleasure to work at Purdue University. — Mike Eriksen (Economics)

Jazmin Meyer

Huge thanks to Jazmin (Hillenbrand Dining), our clerk, who does so much more than being just a clerk. We just had our first high school student recognition dinner, and it was a huge success because of Jazmin! She started by helping set up the space and then helped guide our guests to their seats as they arrived. Throughout the evening, she stepped in wherever needed, assisting with logistics, ensuring guests felt welcome and helping the event run smoothly. Jazmin consistently goes above and beyond, and her positive attitude, initiative and dedication to our team shine through in everything she does. She truly deserves a thumbs up! — Neal Williamson (Hillenbrand Dining)

Neal Williamson

Neal (Hillenbrand Dining) was in the right spot at just the right time when a Purdue student entered Hillenbrand Dining Court recently. Mere seconds after the young man stepped in planning to eat brunch, Neal, who is the director of student development for the dining court, recognized signs of a pending health emergency. Without hesitation, Neal stepped up to catch the fainting student. That instantaneous reaction cushioned the student’s fall and prevented what could have been an injurious encounter with a glass door. — Paula McKinney (Retiree)

Denise Hale

Denise (Energy and Utilities) has been the building deputy for the Utility Plant Office Facility since it was built in 2004. Denise is educating others and passing the torch to the next UPOF building deputy, Steve Geheb. A big thank you and thumbs up to Denise for all her efforts as building deputy! — Joe Herman (Heat and Power)
