Purdue, Fidelity offer financial well-being ‘Summer School’ classes beginning Tuesday

Purdue, in partnership with Fidelity, Purdue’s official provider of retirement plan education, guidance and assistance, is proud to offer a summer school curriculum focused on financial well-being, presented by Fidelity workplace financial consultants. The first class is May 6. There is no cost to attend.

Whether individuals are navigating their first financial milestones, managing day-to-day expenses, looking to maintain their lifestyles or getting ready for retirement, the right decisions can help put them on a path to financial wellness. Attendance at any of the summer school classes can help with those decisions.

Summer school classes are offered virtually at noon ET on select Tuesdays May 6 through August 26. The curriculum supports the financial wellness pillar of the Healthy Boiler Wellness Program. Individuals are encouraged to attend any or all of the classes that meet their financial well-being knowledge needs. The summer school curriculum is as follows:

Financial Wellness 101

  • May 6: Create a Budget and Build Emergency Savings
  • May 13: Identify and Prioritize Your Savings Goals
  • May 20: Understanding Roth Contribution in Your Workplace Savings Plan
