MaPSAC awards grants to 14 employees for professional development

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee has awarded individual professional development grants to 14 management and professional staff members for the spring application cycle.

Grants up to $750 are awarded twice each year. MaPSAC presented a total of $7,499 to awardees through its spring 2025 grants. The volunteer subcommittee reviewed 64 eligible applications.

The fall 2025 grant application period will begin in October.

Grant recipients, their positions and the areas in which they work are:

  • Carrie Harris, academic advisor, College of Science
  • Lila Jerger, student support specialist — advocate, Center for Advocacy, Response & Education
  • Katherine Layman, academic advisor, Exploratory Studies
  • Nancy Lollar, director, statewide site — Columbus, Purdue Polytechnic Institute
  • Allison Martin, prevention programming specialist, Center for Advocacy, Response & Education
  • Erin Meyer, community wellness coordinator, Nutrition Education Program, Purdue Extension
  • Holly Mueller, senior academic advisor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
