About the Purdue author

Aaron Bowman is a professor of toxicology and the recently appointed dean of Purdue’s College of Health and Human Sciences. His research spans genetics, pharmacology, biochemistry, and cell and developmental biology, focusing on gene-environment interactions between metal exposure and neurodegenerative diseases. Bowman leads a lab that employs a diverse range of model systems including patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cells neuronal cultures and mouse models.
