Reminder: REAL ID required for air travel as of May 7

Beginning May 7, airlines will require travelers to possess and provide a state-issued REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, permit or identification card. A REAL ID has a star in the upper right-hand corner of the card.

Purdue Travel is urging faculty and staff who will be flying on university business on or after May 7 to obtain a REAL ID in advance.

Additional information about REAL ID cards is available on the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles website.
