About the book (from the publisher)

In the business world you need both technical and communication skills to do your job well. In particular, your written communication skills (writing is the most common way we communicate in the digital age) can make or break how you function and relate to others. Business, no matter what industry you are in, is about people and what we say and how we say it matters in the business world.

“Strategic Business Writing: A People-First Approach” and the accompanying online resources will help you build a strong foundation in business writing so you will be better equipped to write well in any business situation you find yourself in. Foundational communication skills covered in this book include audience analysis, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and problem-solving, building connection and trust, and communication ethics. This book also covers an array of different types of business writing and best practices for using artificial intelligence as an effective communication tool.
