Health Summit set for Feb. 20

Dr. Jerome Adams, executive director of Purdue’s Center for Community Health Enhancement and Learning, in partnership with March of Dimes, has announced the fourth Health Summit scheduled for 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 20. This year’s summit at Purdue’s Indianapolis location will focus on maternal and infant health.

The summit will feature Dr. Amanda Williams, interim chief medical officer at March of Dimes, in a fireside chat keynote with Dr. Brownsyne Tucker Edmonds, associate dean for Health Equity Research at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

The event will take place at the Indianapolis Campus Center, 420 University Blvd., Indianapolis. Researchers, health care professionals, policymakers and community leaders who are passionate about health equity, public health, and maternal and infant health are encouraged to attend, along with interested individuals from both within and outside the Purdue community.

The summit will include a poster presentation and awards for the top two student posters. Those wishing to submit a poster must register for the event and follow the submission instructions during registration.
