CSSAC accepting new-member applications through April 12

The Campus Support Staff Advisory Committee (CSSAC) is accepting applications for new committee members from the West Lafayette and Indianapolis locations who are interested in serving as a two-way conduit between support staff and university administration.

As a communication facilitator, CSSAC offers support staff the opportunity to promote advocacy, engagement and collaboration related to campus affairs. The committee includes up to 25 voting clerical and service support staff representatives from all segments of the Purdue community.

Clerical and service support staff should expect to dedicate at least 10 hours each month to serving on the committee. The following is expected of all members:

  • Attend the full committee meeting each month.
  • Serve on a CSSAC subcommittee and a university subcommittee.
  • Communicate appropriate information to support staff in their area on a regular basis.

Applications to join CSSAC can be submitted through April 12. Ten positions are open for three-year terms, which will begin June 1. All applicants must have supervisor approval to be considered.
