Applications sought for 2025 Student Life Impact Awards

The Office of the Vice Provost for Student Life is seeking applications for the 2025 Student Life Impact Awards. These awards recognize outstanding contributions by Purdue alumni and mentors in various categories.

This year’s awards include:

  • Student Life Service Award
Honors Purdue alumni who have demonstrated a commitment to their communities through the development of private or public programs.
  • Student Life Award for Outstanding Leadership
Recognizes Purdue alumni with exceptional careers marked by long-term leadership and noteworthy professional accomplishments.
  • Bob L. and Joyce Beery Miles Student Life Mentor Award
Celebrates individuals who have provided significant mentorship to students in the Student Life division. This award is open to both alumni and non-alumni.
  • Student Life Young Alumni Award
Acknowledges Purdue alumni aged 35 or younger who have demonstrated outstanding career progress.

The nomination process has been made more concise and accessible. Nominators are required to submit brief bios for themselves and their nominee, a nomination letter, and a link to the nominee’s LinkedIn profile. Alternatively, a career path summary may be submitted in place of a LinkedIn link. Nominators may also request that an employer submit a nomination on their behalf.

Nominations from faculty, staff and students are encouraged. The nomination form can be accessed here. Applications are due by Jan. 31 at midnight. An award ceremony will take place April 6 during the Student Life Honors program.
