AffirmedRx: Purdue’s new prescription coverage provider
AffirmedRx is Purdue’s new prescription coverage provider for nonspecialty medications, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The transition from one pharmacy benefit manager to another can sometimes result in delays or data not being transferred. Here are a few reminders to assist individuals with this transition and where to find the best resources.
Important things to know and do
- New Anthem member ID cards were mailed prior to Jan. 1. Individuals will need to present the new ID card at the pharmacy to pick up prescriptions.
- Can’t find the ID card? Individuals can download or order an ID card via the Anthem Sydney App or they can access their ID number anytime on the AffirmedRx mobile app, ARx Pulse.
- Confirm pharmacy is in-network. Check full list of in-network pharmacies here. Pharmacies received a notice prior to Jan. 1 of the switch from CVS Caremark to AffirmedRx.
- Set up mail order. AffirmedRx offers two options for online mail-order pharmacies — Amazon Pharmacy and Cost Plus Drug Co.
- Check medication coverage and pricing. For detailed information on medications and to compare price options, register on the AffirmedRx member portal or download the ARx Pulse app.
AffirmedRx member portal
- Go to https://affirmedrx.myrxplan.com/login.
- Click “Register Now.”
- Fill in plan information from ID card, name and contact information.
- Set up username and password.
- Click “Create Your Account.”
- Click “I Agree” to finish.
ARx Pulse app
- Download ARx Pulse app.
- Click “Activate Your Account.”
- Fill in plan information from ID card, name and contact information.
- Set up username and password.
- Click “Create Your Account.”
- Click “I Agree” to finish.
