2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Dreamer Award recipients

The Office of the Vice President for Ethics and Compliance has announced the recipients of the 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Dreamer Award. The Dreamer Award has been presented annually since 2004 to individuals or organizations within the Purdue University community whose contributions embody Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision of service to others and further the university’s commitment to diversity.

This year’s recipients are:

Wilfrido Cruz

Senior diversity recruiter and assistant director for diversity, inclusion and multicultural education

Office of the Vice President for Human Resources

Carolyn E. Johnson

Associate vice provost emerita for diversity and inclusion

Patrick A. Zollner

Professor of forestry and natural resources

College of Agriculture

Recipients will be recognized at a reception on Jan. 21 in the Prusiecki Banquet Room of the Dauch Alumni Center (West Lafayette campus) from 3-5 p.m. Individuals wishing to attend are encouraged to RSVP here.
