Policy updates for December

An update to the policy on Status and Privileges of Retired Faculty and Staff, Surviving Spouses and Surviving Children (VI.A.1) is effective Dec. 1. The update aligns the eligibility for health insurance with action taken by the Board of Trustees in 2020. The change affects faculty and staff hired on or after Jan. 1, 2021.

Visit the new and revised policies page on the University Policy Office website for a link to the full text of these systemwide policies.

Note: Policies and standards do not apply to Purdue Global, as it maintains its own policies and standards.
