MaPSAC awards professional development grants to 21 employees

The Management and Professional Staff Advisory Committee has awarded individual professional development grants to 21 management and professional staff members for the fall application cycle.

Grants up to $750 are awarded twice each year. MaPSAC presented a total of $13,639 to awardees through its fall 2024 grants. The volunteer subcommittee reviewed 40 eligible applications. The spring 2025 grant application period will open in April.

Grant recipients, their positions and the areas in which they work are:

  • Leslie Charters, director of Student Legal Services, Office of the Dean of Students
  • Shihling Chui-Dwyer, career services consultant, Center for Career Opportunities
  • Jill Clauson, research specialist, College of Engineering
  • Jennifer Fecher, lead academic advisor, College of Health and Human Sciences Student Services
  • Corey Guilford, career advisor, Business Career Services
  • Sarah Hanson, food systems coordinator, Agriculture and Natural Resources
  • Kimberly Hoebel, assistant comptroller managerial accounting services, Controller’s Office
  • Denica Holzworth, online student services specialist, Daniels School of Business, Purdue University Online
  • Miranda Jack, senior academic advisor, Exploratory Studies
  • Liz Jackson, managing director, Krenicki Center for Business Analytics and Machine Learning
  • Emily Justus, outreach coordinator, Entomology
  • Timothy Lombardo, senior instructional designer, Purdue University Online
  • Nicole McCabe, career services consultant and employer strategies coordinator, Center for Career Opportunities
  • Roberta “Bobbe” Molter, lead academic advisor, Nutrition Science
  • Monica Peck Cottrell, undergraduate academic advisor, Daniels School of Business, Undergraduate Advising
  • Veronica Rahim, director of employer engagement, Center for Career Opportunities
  • Damilola Seyi-Oderinde, evaluation and research associate, Evaluation and Learning Research Center
  • Jessica Stocker, assistant director of academic programs, Management
  • Kathryn Walters, manager of scheduling and systems, Purdue Conferences and Event Design, Purdue Memorial Union
