Applications being accepted for undergraduate scholarship, leadership award

The Roger C. Stewart Leadership and Professional Development Department is currently accepting applications for the Class of 1937 Scholarship and the Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award.  

The Class of 1937 Scholarship is awarded to continuing undergraduate students who have been active in leadership activities and have demonstrated significant leadership potential. To be eligible, students must be registered full-time as a sophomore, junior or senior during the first and second semesters of the 2024-25 academic year. Scholarships range from $1,000-$5,000. The application deadline is 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 10, and references must be returned by 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 19. 

The Charles O. McGaughey Leadership Award is given to individuals who have completed at least two semesters as a full-time undergraduate student on Purdue’s West Lafayette campus. The award is based on the demonstration of outstanding leadership abilities and significant community contributions. Scholarships range from $2,000-$4,000. The application deadline is 5 p.m. ET on Jan. 13.
